Regarding the organization of the international high frequency (HF) competition “Baltic Contest 2023”.
Statement from LRSF Council meeting No. 23/04-01:
Considered: Regarding the organization of the International High Frequency (HF) competition “Baltic Contest 2023”.
Proposed: To organize “Baltic Contest 2023” in accordance with the instructions-recommendations of the International Olympic Committee (IOC EB) and the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports of Lithuania.
Decision: LRSF’s traditional international high frequency radio communication competition “Baltic Contest 2023” is continuing. It will take place on May 20th – 21st of 2023. According to the documents of the International Olympic Committee (IOC EB) and the official documents of the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania, sports contacts – QSO with Russia and Belarus are not counted. The mentioned countries will not be evaluated.

Regarding the organization of the international high frequency (HF) competition “Baltic Contest 2022”.
Statement from LRSF Council meeting No. 22/04-02:
Considered: Regarding the organization of the International High Frequency (HF) competition “Baltic Contest 2022”.
Proposed: In consultation with a Lithuania radio sports active members, including radio sports representatives from Latvia and Estonia (more than 40 radio sports representatives in total), after their survey on the organization of this year’s “Baltic Contest” competition, opinions were collected and grouped into 3 categories: to organize the competition, suspend the competition, no opinion.
The survey results are: to organize the competition – 9.3%, suspend the competition – 79.1%, no opinion – 11.6%.
Decision: The current geopolitical situation in Europe, i.e. on military actions in Ukraine, on Ukraine’s inability to participate in radio sports competitions, on an official document signed by the Minister of Education and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania J. Šiugždinienė, which is in line with the position of 40 countries, the international HF competition “Baltic Contest” organized by the LRSF, which is expected to take place on May 20-21, 2022, is suspended for one year.

GENERAL RULES OF LITHUANIAN VHF/UHF/SHF CHAMPIONSHIP 2021
DATE: 21 th of August, 2021
TIME: 17.00 – 23.00 UTC
BANDS: 144 MHz, 432 MHz, 1296 MHz, 2.3 GHz, 5.7 GHz, 10 GHz
CONTACTS: All operation in accordance with IARU Region 1 band plans. Any
station may be worked, but to classify, QSO with at least 1 LY station is
necessary. Contacts via active repeaters, MS and EME are not valid.
MODES: CW, SSB, FM.
EXCHANGE: Signal report RS(T), serial number of QSO, starting from 001 in
each band, and WWL locator.
SCORING:
1 point/ kilometer on 144 MHz,
2 points/ kilometer on 432 MHz,
4 points/ kilometer on 1296 MHz,
8 points/ kilometer on 2.3 GHz,
16 points/ kilometer on 5.7 GHz,
32 points/ kilometer on 10 GHz.
Final score is the sum of all points in all bands during the contest period.

AWARDS:
Up to three highest scoring stations in each class of each participating
country will receive the awards.
LOGS:
The logs in REG1TEST (EDI) format must be submitted within two weeks (last
day – September 5 d., 2021) after contest period and sent with subject „LY VUSHF

The 24th Lithuanian HF CUP will take place on 19th June 2021 on holiday resort-city Birštonas, which is situated 40 km south from Kaunas.
