Basic information about 8th European foxoring championship

1.      Participants:a representative of any country, city, society, sport club, etc.
2.      Date:4-6 October, 2013.
3.      Venue:Birštonas, one of the most prestigious Lithuanian health resorts, situated on the river Nemunas 40 km south of Kaunas. Competition’s terrain is wooded and crossed with forest roads. Competition's sites are about 15 km from accomodation.
4.      Travel:  road access via Suwalki, Marijampolė, Prienai or via Vilnius, Trakai, Aukštadvaris.
5.      Shedule: 4 October, 2013, Friday
    o    Arrival, registration, accomodation.
    o    Official opening ceremony.
    o    Foxoring sprint competition, 3.5 MHz.
    o    Awarding ceremony.
    o    Jury meeting.
                      5 October, 2013, Saturday
    o    Foxoring competition, 144 MHz.
    o    Awarding ceremony.
    o    Jury meeting.
                      6 October, 2013, Sunday
    o    Foxoring competition, 3.5 MHz.
    o    Awarding and closing ceremony.
    o    Departure.
6.      Categories:  W-15, W-17, W-21, W-35, W-50.
                      M-15, M-17, M-21, M-40, M-50, M-60.
7.      Teams:a National team participating in championship may consist of any number of participants.
            Each National team may be accompanied by a team leader.
            All National teams are kindly invited to bring their national flag (standard dimensions) and an audio record of national anthem (audio cassette).
8.      Classification:individual - each category and competition.
            National team - 1st place - 6 points, 2nd place - 5 points, ..., 6th place - 1 point.
9.      Prizes and Awards:individual classification 1-3 place medals and diplomas.
            National team 1st place cup, 1-3 place diplomas.
10.  Maps:standard IOF maps, scale 1:10000, H-2.5m.
11.  Accommodation: the accommodation has been arrangedin Hotels, Motels and etc. Participants will pay for all living expenses. Organizers could book the place in Birštonas or Prienai. We are waiting for yours request. The prices are in the range 10–40 €/night without meal.
12.  Payment for participation:starting fee will be 15 € (for M15, M17, W15, W17) and 20 € for rest.
  Participating fee is accepted paid in cash on the day of arrival in the Championship.
  Special reduction (20% for starting fee) is provided for all participants from countries first time entering this European Championship.
13.  Medical aids: there will be medical service available in the competition area.
14.  Insurance:all participants in the Championship should take care of their health insurance during the Championship. The Organizers cannot bear any costs that should arise in case of accident or illness.
15.  Restrictions:only sportsmen, team leaders, members of International Jury and organizers are allowed to enter the starting area.
 It is not allowed to use any radio communication equipment (also mobile telephones) during competition period.
